Their poutine is a standout, swapping traditional cheese curds for gooey mozzarella and tossing in diced ham for an extra flavor punch. And let’s talk about their ranch dressing—it’s served chilled on the side, and it’s the best ranch we’ve had in forever.
Speedy service means you won’t be twiddling your thumbs waiting for your meal, and the food is downright delicious, filling, and won’t break the bank.
Their breakfast plates are just $9.95! Trust us—skip the other spots and make a beeline for The Village Cafe. It’s that good.

Centrally located in the Vancouver Airport Marriott in Richmond, it’s just minutes from the historic Steveston Village, the Olympic Oval, and a bustling Chinese retail district.
Brunch here is a no-brainer. The hash breakfast plate is a crowd-pleaser, the French toast is absolutely divine, and the lattes are simply magnificent.
For something heartier, the steak sandwich is a total winner. It has gooey melted cheese, sautéed onions, and a crispy baguette, served with perfectly golden French fries.
Pro tip:
Parking is hassle-free since it’s in a hotel area, but don’t forget to register your car with the host or hostess!

If you’re in Richmond BC, dim sum is a must-do, and this spot is where you’ll find some of the best. The quality is top-notch, with unique items on the menu that you won’t see everywhere.
While the menu is extensive, it doesn’t skimp on authenticity or flavor. Hands down, the best dim sum in Richmond. Every dish is thoughtfully prepared, and the flavors are exceptional—this place rivals the finest spots in Guangzhou and Hong Kong.
The shrimp dumplings are steamed to perfection with fresh, juicy shrimp, while the siu mai strikes a perfect balance of flavors.
The beef balls are tender and packed with flavor, but the standout for us was the pork belly with preserved vegetables—absolutely amazing, with the ideal mix of savory and melt-in-your-mouth tenderness.

Be sure to reserve your table 2-3 days in advance—it’s worth the wait!

The Chinese donuts, rice rolls, and Hong Kong-style milk tea are standouts—absolutely delicious and definitely worth trying.
The porridge is also comforting and satisfying, while the house-made fish soup dumplings are perfect for chilly days—warm, flavorful, and so comforting. If you’re craving authentic Chinese cuisine in Richmond, Yin Ji Chang Fen is a must-visit.

Sun Sui Wah is hands down our favorite spot for Cantonese dim sum in town! The food is always fresh, and with so many tables, you won’t have to wait long to dive into your meal.
The restaurant is surprisingly spacious—way bigger than you might expect—and it’s super clean. Plus, they’ve got TV panels along one wall, so you can catch something on the jumbo screen while you eat.
The shrimp dumplings and shrimp egg rolls are absolute favorites, and don’t forget to ask for extra soy sauce and condiments! The fish paste is perfectly chewy with a satisfying crisp at the end, and the sweet bun is so soft and sweetened.
Parking here is a bit better than other Richmond Chinese spots—there’s more space in their lot and no one-hour time limit.

If you can’t find a spot, parking on the street for a few bucks is your best bet to avoid any hassle.

Britannia Brewing Steveston is a charming brewery and restaurant in Richmond, boasting a beautiful aesthetic and a spotless environment.
It’s the perfect spot to unwind after a day of work, especially with friends, for a peaceful afternoon or evening out.
Just steps away from Fisherman’s Wharf, you can enjoy local beers, truffle fries, pasta dishes, fish & chips, charcuterie, and more!
The beer is crisp and refreshing, the fish & chips are top-notch, and the mussels from the dine-out menu are incredibly flavorful and satisfying.
If you’re visiting the area, this place is a must-try. Be sure to grab a flight of their beers and definitely don’t miss the clam chowder.

Their patio is one of the best in Richmond! If you’re dining with a group, you can reserve a cozy corner of the restaurant for a more intimate experience.

Steveston Seafood House has been around for 40 years, and it’s easy to see why—it delivers exceptional flavors across the board. It’s the perfect spot for a relaxing Sunday brunch.
The new menu is both exciting and delicious, with high-quality dishes that impress every time. While the wine selection is always a winner, we were especially blown away by the new cocktail menu.
A must-try is the Thai Seafood Bowl. For dessert, don’t miss the Apple Crumble—it’s a true delight. And if you’re a fan of oysters, go ahead and order them—they’re top-notch.
This place is a great choice if you’re after something a bit quieter and more romantic compared to the louder, higher-energy spots by the wharf.
Pro tip:
We recommend the Devils on Horseback (bacon-wrapped scallops). They are a standout—they’re perfectly prepared and absolutely delicious.

This spot is a hidden gem for brunch! It’s just a little off the beaten path, but still super easy to get to. The Eggs Benedict here are absolutely amazing—the hollandaise sauce is perfectly seasoned, and they even cook the tomato to perfection. The avocado is also a delightful touch.
The menu offers a fantastic variety, from omelettes to French toast, pancakes, and waffles. There’s even a sampler that lets you try eggs, bacon, pancakes, or French toast. And if you’re feeling health-conscious, you can swap bacon for turkey bacon.
Also, don’t miss the crepes—whether you’re in the mood for Nutella or the traditional variety. Fresh orange or grapefruit juice is the perfect drink to go with it all.
We highly recommend stopping by for a beautiful brunch experience. Without a doubt, we’ll be back for more! This place is a true gem and one you won’t want to miss.
