“I’ve been coming here for a few years now and always enjoy my experience! I’ve tried taking classes at other studios around the city and this is my preferred spot. Yes, the building is a bit old and there’s no water fountain, but for the convenience, the price, and the amount of different classes you can take, no other studio can beat it! #ContestEntry”

Great classes for kids
“The Happening has been a very big deal for our family. My daughters enrolled together many years ago and it’s been amazing for both of them. My youngest started with one class and has moved up the ranks through the competitive teams to arrive this year as a Senior. Watching her compete and win is so much fun but even more important is the tight relationships she’s built with her teammates. She is learning how to support and be supported, how to strive and deal with both winning and not quite winning. She would rather be dancing than anything else and takes on more and more each season in an environment that celebrates her hard work. It’s a community for my daughters but also for our families as we parents help and enjoy each other too. I couldn’t be more grateful to be part of the The Happening and sincerely congratulate Kim Stevenson and her whole team on what they’ve created for all of us.”

Helps build self confidence
“My daughter has had nothing but amazing experiences at The Happening. The studio is super organized and the owner Kim is such a thoughtful and special person. Even after moving 5 hours away we still returned to take part in the summer camp. It has consistently been a happy, high energy, low stress atmosphere full of good vibes!”
