“I spoke with Keri for a consultation and she helped me tremendously! She was very informative in any questions I had and guided me to the right steps in my insurance settlement. She is definitely someone I will keep in touch with for any insurance questions. She made me feel she was here for me and not just for the money or the insurance company. Finally, someone I can reach out to for real answers and help.” – Victoria Tran

Long-lasting, efficient system!

“Firefly Solar installed my system two years ago when they were Palmetto State Solar, and we are continuously happy with our purchase. Energy bills are low and the system itself is aesthetically pleasing. We even recently upgraded our system by adding a consumption monitor! The next step is to look into battery types, and I will definitely be reaching out to Firefly for those services as well since I know I can trust them!” – Anonymous

Power My Home, founded in 2012, specializes in off-grid solutions and portable power. They employ inverter technology, safe for sensitive electronics such as flat screens, laptop computers, and game consoles.

We believe Power My Home is ideal for residential and commercial buildings because it uses a safe and quiet power system that will not interfere with your productivity.

Another nice touch is that Power My Home can also install solar panels on trailers, trucks, RVs, and boats!

It’s also worth noting that all Power My Home systems are CARB, EPA, CETL, and CSA certified, which we believe adds to their dependability and authenticity. Moreover, they can install grid-connected, hybrid, or off-grid solar panel systems.

They also offer all types of batteries, including lithium, in their online store, which we find very convenient. They also sell inverter cables, solar charge controllers, radio transceivers, and various other products.

Another notable feature is that all their services include maintenance work in case the system fails or malfunctions.

Unfortunately, Power My Home provides fewer options than other solar panel companies. They are also closed on weekends, which limits their availability, in our opinion.

Nevertheless, many of the customers we’ve spoken with have commented on how informative they were in creating concise and informative video tutorials for their clients.

Overall, Power My Home is one of the best solar panel providers in Vancouver because they provide clean, efficient power and dependable maintenance services.

Vancouver Solar & Electrical Ltd. provides clients with a one-stop shop for almost everything! This includes design, permits, installations, and emergency repair work.

Vancouver Solar & Electrical Ltd. serves the entire province of British Columbia, including Greater Vancouver, North and West Vancouver, and surrounding cities.

This business provides grid-connected solar PV systems, which we recommend for residential and commercial customers looking to connect to the BC Hydro distribution system.

Vancouver Solar & Electrical Ltd. also provides standalone off-grid systems, standby generators, UPS systems, and microgrid systems.

We like that they can accommodate large commercial plants requiring more than 1MW, as we believe this distinguishes them from the competition.

They also install power walls, which we think are practical because you can control your power through the Powerflow app. They also come with a 10-year warranty and the installation process only takes 2-5 days.

Another thing that drew our attention was that they provide free physical site visits if you live within 50 kilometers. However, if you’re outside that radius or too busy, this company also offers Google design services.

The way it works is that they use Google Earth to design your panel roof layout, and they use a 2D and 3D layout design to provide clients with a finished design proposal. They also offer free drone shots of your newly installed panels as well!

Nevertheless, we think Vancouver Solar & Electrical Ltd. deserves a spot on our list as they provide simple design planning and can accommodate small to large establishments.

VREC Solar has been installing grid-connected photovoltaic systems in Metro Vancouver since 2004. In 2019, they expanded their products and services to include renewable energy technologies like solar pool heating, among other things.

We believe this sets them apart from the competition as they advocate for a more environmentally conscious community. They are also members of the BC Sustainable Energy Association and the Canada Green Building Council.

Furthermore, they provide leasing for commercial systems, bulk orders, and shares in cooperatively owned solar projects, providing clients with added comfort.

Aside from this, VREC Solar delivers and installs all equipment for off-grid and grid-connected solar photovoltaic electricity systems.

We also like that they have extensive experience with BC Hydro’s Net Metering Program, which simplifies the entire process.

Another thing that drew our attention was the fact that they offer photovoltaic panels and inverters from a wide range of manufacturers, including BP Solar, LG, Fronius, and many others.

VREC Solar also offers Tesla Powerwalls, which come with a 14 kWh lithium-ion battery pack, a liquid thermal control system, and an integrated inverter.

It also includes software that intelligently delivers electricity when needed, which we think is an excellent power saver. In addition, they also offer EV chargers and monitoring and repair services.

Unfortunately, this business is closed on weekends, so they may be limited in their ability to accommodate projects.

Nevertheless, VREC Solar provides free quotes, a roof evaluation, a tailored system design, and an analysis of the financial implications of installing solar panels which we think is very convenient.

Overall, we recommend VREC Solar if you’re looking for a sustainable solar panel system for your home.

Jennifer Johnson built Solar Connect because she believes solar energy can become a regular energy source, allowing us to move toward a more sustainable future.

We particularly like that they provide clients with a detailed overview of the whole installation process.

Solar Connect follows a 12-step process beginning with your initial consultation. This company will also conduct a site assessment to finalize the solar energy system design.

They will then send you a detailed final proposal to proceed with permit applications, material ordering and delivery, and finally, the installation process.

We also thought it was impressive that once you agree to their final proposal, Solar Connect could complete the entire process in a month. We think this is ideal as consumers want their investments to start paying back immediately.

Furthermore, Solar Connect provides a wide range of system sizes ranging from 4kW to 1,250 kW. We found it impressive that they can accommodate small homes, corporate buildings, and large commercial farms.

Their adaptability makes them more dependable and a viable option for a wide range of customers.

Solar Connect, unfortunately, does not accept debit payments. They do, however, accept credit cards, bank transfers, e-transfers, and a variety of other payment methods.
