A few months ago, we were so busy moving to Vancouver that we couldn’t squeeze in a trip to the dealer. Luckily, our friend told us that we could just buy online at Vancouver Pre-Owned.
You can conveniently browse for all available trucks and other vehicle types online. They also provided all details, including mileage, transmission, engine, model, and even stock number, so it’s easier for you to choose.
There are limited photos uploaded online, but don’t worry, they can send you more photos once you check for its availability.
Since we didn’t have much time on our plate, we loved that they took care of all the paperworks needed for our car financing. They made sure they gathered all the needed information, so we didn’t have frequent back-and-forths during our transaction.
If you want someone that is very meticulous, we recommend that you request Killian or Gurj. These two agents will make sure to give you a list of truck models based on your budget and specifications.
We also received a document with all the inspection details, which helped us during the selection process.

We purchased our first car at National Car & Trucks Sales when we moved to Vancouver. Now that we’re in search of a truck, it just makes sense that we check them out again.
When we found out that they were also offering trade-in services, we decided to go for it, saving us from the time and effort of selling our old car ourselves.
Our most favorite part of dealing with this used car shop is that they have a lot of truck options. You’ll love that they will give you options based on your budget and preference, making it easy for you to choose.
It’s also great that they present all the car documents and certificates from the get-go!
And if you still can’t find the truck that you’re looking for, they won’t push you to double-check the initial list that they provided. They will try to source out other models–you just need to be ready to wait for a while since it might take time.
Another thing that we loved about them is when they accommodated our extra requests without an extra cost. We appreciated that they gave us an extra set of keys, saving us from a trip to a key store.
They also called us a week after we made our purchase, just to check if our truck’s running smoothly.

We’ve got to be honest: 715 Motor Haus wasn’t part of our initial list, but when we were driving around to check different used car shops, their place caught our attention.
We stopped by and saw special cars and vintage ones parked on their lot. We knew we had to ask if there were available used trucks on sale too.
While they have some, you need to manage your expectations as they only have limited truck models that you can choose from. Nonetheless, you can expect them to ask for your truck specifications so they can try sourcing them out for you.
Just by looking at these cars in their showroom, we know how meticulous they were in keeping them clean and well-maintained. Some of the used vehicles even looked brand new, it was like living back in the day during their launch!
Well, they don’t just take care of the vehicle’s exterior. The cars are stored in a heated warehouse, which protects the engine and fluids, especially during winter.
And while some dealers may just give you a quick loop around the block, you can expect this shop to give you a thorough test drive route so you can check how the trucks perform on different road types.

When our friend recommended Blue Star Motors, we immediately gave it a go. We weren’t actually planning on buying on the same day, but the place just looked so inviting, it made our shopping a whole lot easier.
Their agents even asked us if we wanted to browse the vehicles ourselves or if we already wanted their assistance. So if you want your truck shopping to be less sales-y, then you’ll surely love it here.
Another thing that stood out during our visit was that their showroom was organized. They even took the time to group the cars and trucks by size and even mileage, which will make your shopping much easier!
And if you’re ready to know more details about the vehicle, you can just call one of their agents who are knowledgeable about all vehicles inside the showroom. They will even walk you through your pre-selected trucks.
It’s also great that they’re transparent during the selection process. We love that they even handed us the accident reports of the trucks that we were looking at.
But don’t worry, since Blue Star Motors has an in-house detailing service, they were able to fix all exterior flaws before listing the vehicles.

For those of you who wish to buy used trucks for business use, Repo.com is one of the best ones we tried around Vancouver. Aside from pick-up trucks, you can also check dump trucks, excavators, and flat deck trucks, perfect for heavy-duty use.
This shop’s also known for repossessed vehicles, so this is perfect if you’re working on a very tight budget!
It’s great that they have a straightforward process. If you’re not onsite, they will just send you a full information of the package, which you can review.
Once you visit the showroom, they’re also ready to hand you a printed copy so they can go over all line items before you make a decision.
Another thing that we loved about this shop is that you can place your bids on the trucks you’re interested in. Just head to their website, log in to your Repo.com account, and place your bids.
We gave it a try and placed a bid online. While it’s exciting, we feel like it’s not for everyone, especially since there’s no assurance that you’ll get the truck that you really wanted—unless you bid so high!
But if you want an exciting way to purchase your next truck, then it’s worth giving a try. Just make sure not to go over your budget!
